Terms
These terms cover your use of onceuponupholstery.com, the website of Once Upon Upholstery, Molly Forenza's upholstery business in Miami Beach, Florida. By using the site you agree to them. They're written to be read, so they're short.
The website
The site shows our work and lets you tell us about a piece you'd like recovered. You're welcome to browse, share links, and send us your project. Please don't misuse it: no attempts to break in, overload it, scrape it in bulk, or send anything unlawful or harmful.
Estimates are not quotes
Any price range you see on this site, including from a project form or estimator, is a rough guide based on what you entered. It is not an offer or a final price. Fabric, yardage, the condition of the frame and padding, and transportation all change the real number. Your price is the written estimate Molly gives you after seeing the piece, and the work is governed by what you and Molly agree to at that point.
What you send us
Please only send photos and details you have the right to share. You keep ownership of your photos. By sending them, you let us use them to review, estimate, and do your project. We won't publish photos of your home or your piece without asking you first.
Our photos and words
The photos, text, and design of this site belong to Once Upon Upholstery or are used with permission. Please ask before reusing them, other than sharing a link.
The QuickBooks connection (end-user license)
This website includes a small private connection, called Once Upon Upholstery Estimator, between the website and Once Upon Upholstery's own QuickBooks Online company. It exists so the business can turn project requests into customers, estimates, invoices, and payments in its own books.
- Who may use it. Only the owner of Once Upon Upholstery, or someone she authorizes, may connect or disconnect it. It is not offered to the public or to other QuickBooks users, and no one is charged for it.
- What it can do. With the owner's permission, granted on Intuit's own sign-in screen, it can read and write accounting records (such as customers, estimates, and invoices) and use QuickBooks Payments in that one QuickBooks company.
- Keys. The connection keys are stored on the server and are never shown in a browser. The owner can end the connection at any time from the Apps area in QuickBooks, or from the website's owner-only disconnect page. Ending it stops the website's access; it doesn't delete anything in QuickBooks.
- No warranty. The connection is provided as is. QuickBooks remains the record of the business's books, and the owner should check anything the website creates there.
- Intuit. QuickBooks and QuickBooks Payments are provided by Intuit under Intuit's own terms. Intuit is not responsible for this website.
Payments
If you pay us online, the payment is processed by Intuit through QuickBooks Payments. Card and bank details are entered with Intuit, not on this website.
Links to other sites
We link to places like Instagram and Intuit. We're not responsible for their content or how they handle your information.
No guarantees about the website
We work to keep the site accurate and running, but it's provided as is, and it may occasionally be unavailable or out of date. To the extent the law allows, Once Upon Upholstery isn't liable for losses that come from using, or not being able to use, the website. This doesn't limit anything we owe you under a written agreement for upholstery work, or any rights the law doesn't allow us to limit.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the version posted when you use the site is the one that applies.
Florida
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
